Belles Cloud 9 babies will be 7 weeks old,
which means it’s time for temperament results and puppy selection!
Today the pups went for their vet checks, it was so calm and quiet for the car ride, the pups slept the whole drive. The vet appointment went smoothly and I’m happy to report that the whole litter received a clean bill of health (and many compliments about their amazing behavior)!
Only 1 thing to note, 2 of the boys (Airy and Zephyrs) testicles have not yet descended... Normal time frame is between 6-8 weeks, so not something we worry about, but just something we note and their families will want to confirm with their vet at their first checkup that they have descended.
The car ride home was just as peaceful, with sleepy relaxed puppies.
This week was full of more repetition, the pups are getting used to their routine now and I am so incredibly proud of these babies, they are doing amazing with potty training with everyone running out on their own (usually Harmony leading the pack) to the grass to do their business and when it’s time to come inside and have a nap, many of them run in and go straight to their cozy crates. I’m so in love with this whole bunch, and their calm relaxed chill attitudes. The demeanor of this crew is just fantastic! They are all so smart, caught on incredibly quick to potty and crate training and the whole group has been a joy. I feel like time went by so fast with these babies because we’ve truly have been soaking up every minute we’ve been able to spend with them.. The pups had their temperament testing today and below we will have their individual assessments, for more info on the temperament testing we do, go to :
And scroll to “interpreting the scores” section.
Volhard says:
“For that first time, wonderfully easy to train, potential star, look for a puppy that scores with mostly 4’s and 3’s.“
A final note before we get into scores and individual assessments: Every pup in the group is amazing, they are all uniquely special and there is no “best puppy”. Every single pup in this litter is a star.⭐️
Here they are at (almost)7 weeks, Belles cloud 9 babies!

Suddenly we see a puppy crawling out of Mama! The sac the pups are usually born in had broken inside and Zephyr was determined to get out! Zephyr scored mostly 4's with a few 3's and 5's
Belle’s babies are 6 weeks old and doing wonderful!
Potty training is in full swing. The pups are going out regularly for potty breaks and are really grasping the concept that we potty outside.
This week everyone had the full grooming experience, they enjoyed their relaxing warm bath,
and sat so nicely for their blow dry, and nail trim. Their coats are getting thicker and they are really beginning to look like little teddy bears!
Mama is still giving the pups short feedings but the majority of their meals are now coming from their puppy kibble, which they eagerly chow down on at mealtimes
! The pups are very focused on humans at this point, tracking us and sitting nicely for attention. All of them love to be held and relax easily when sitting on someones lap. We continue to work on crate training, and will continue to work on it over the next 2 weeks until they are resting and learning to entertain and comfort themselves in a crate. The hardest part is being away from their siblings, this is such a hard, but necessary adjustment and they will need to adjust again some more when they leave their pack and go to their forever homes. This week the pups will have their vet visit and meet with our trainer for temperament assessments. I will post the temperament assessments results and a bit more info about each pup at next weeks update, the much anticipated puppy selection day is only a week away! Here they are at 6 weeks.

Belle’s babies are 5 weeks old and had a very busy week!
The pups went on their very first field trip… a trip to the backyard! They were so excited to explore all the new sights, smells, sounds, and textures that come with being outside.
Another big first for this crew—puppy mush! They eagerly lapped up their first meal, ending up with faces and paws soaked. Once the bowls were empty, they quickly turned to grooming each other making sure not a single bit of that yummy new food went to waste.
The pups have now started eating two meals a day, which means Belle’s babies have officially begun the weaning process. Mama will still continue to nurse them, but over the next couple of weeks she’ll gradually start feeding them less until she knows they’re ready. It’s always amazing to watch how moms instinctively know when that time has come.
It’s been such a joy this past week watching these pups continue to grow and thrive. Now that they’re going outside, the next few weeks will include a big focus on potty training. They’ll start getting regular, frequent trips outdoors, and by go-home day they should have a great head start on being potty trained.
I’m so excited for the weeks ahead as their coats fill in, social visits pick up, and the pups gain more confidence outside and truly start to shine.

Belles cloud 9 babies are 4 weeks old!
Coats are getting fuller, eyes and ears are fully opened, and we’re really starting to get to know each pup as their individual personalities begin to shine.
Playtime with littermates has officially begun, with tiny barks, pounces, and the cutest little tail wags. There’s much more action going on in their new larger pen.
Curious little minds are beginning to wake up, and they’re exploring everything around them.
To keep their rapidly growing minds busy, we introduce at least 1 new toy or object a day and let them investigate; a crinkle toy, a bumpy ball, a smooth ball, even things like a plastic water bottle- everything Is new and exciting to them and the pups have a blast investigating the new sounds, textures, and smells these objects bring.
This week will be a very exciting one for them, their teeth are starting to come in and they will be ready for their very first tastes of puppy mush and their first trip outside! More on those exciting milestones next week…
They’re growing sweeter, fluffier, and more fun by the day, the best is yet to come.
Here they are at 4 weeks our Cloud 9 cuties!
The puppies are three weeks old now and doing wonderful! I’m always amazed at how so much happens in just a few short weeks!
Early last week they completed their early neurological stimulation program and we can tell it’s done its job. They are so calm and relaxed, not jumpy, squirmy or reactive when picked up.
We’ve started sound desensitizing as they can hear now.
We will gradually expose them to all different kinds of sounds; babies crying, fireworks, dogs barking, sirens (etc.) this early introduction to "scary" sounds helps the pups become more comfortable as they grow and begin to encounter lots of different sounds in new environments.
It makes for a more confident pup and has been proven to reduce fear and anxiety that can be associated with these "scary" sounds later in life.
In other news, the cloudy crew has started to find their feet! They have gone from dragging themselves around to beginning to stand up and take their very first (very wobbly) steps on all fours! Eyes are opened and with their new found sight and feet they have started getting more active and engaging with each other. As they begin to notice one another more the wrestling and playing starts. The whole bunch is doing wonderful and Mama is still being super Mama, and taking amazing care of her beautiful babies. So much more to come! Here they are at 3 weeks…
Our Cloud 9 Angels are officially 2 weeks old and starting to wake up from their dreamy newborn phase. You will notice in this weeks photos that there are a couple little girls that are just a bit ahead of the pack on a huge milestone. Cloudy and Harmony are the first to open their eyes!
The rest are not far behind, were starting to see tiny, sleepy little squints as they are getting their very first glimpses of the world.
They’re still spending most of their time snuggled up in the sweetest little puppy piles, but we’re seeing a few wobbly stretches and early takeoff attempts as they figure out those legs.
Belle is the most devoted mama, keeping her babies cozy, full, and perfectly cared for 💕
Things are about to get extra fun as they become more aware and start interacting with eachother. Our Cloud 9 babies won’t be this sleepy for long! Here the little Angels are at 2 weeks.

We are “On Cloud 9” this feels like the most perfect theme for this sweet group!
Allow me to officially introduce you to these sweet little angels.
We have the girls Serenity (Red), Halo (orange), Bliss (yellow), Cloudy (Baby blue), Dream (pink), and Harmony (purple).
The boys are Skylar (dark blue), Airy (green), and Zephyr (Brown).
1 week old today, everyone is doing fantastic! Right now their days consist of eat, sleep, and repeat. Mama is so in love with her new brood, amazingly attentive only stepping away to quickly potty and eat, then she’s right back in the pen with her babies.
Shes keeping them well fed and super clean, this mama is a rockstar!
When the pups were 3 days old we began ENS (early neurological stimulation) with each pup, and will continue through this week. We are weighing the pups daily and everyone is gaining just as we like to see. I’ve had alot of questions about final adult weights on this bunch, it’s hard to know at this stage in their development but Skylar (Blue boy) came out the biggest and has continued to track ahead of his siblings. We have some gorgeous colors! It’s looking like half will have brown noses and footpads and the other half will have black, and coats in various shades. I’m so excited to see how this groups develops over the coming weeks!
Here they are at 1 week old Belles On Cloud 9 litter!
