Potty & Crate Training

Parent Health

When the puppies are just 3 days old they begin ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) - to enhance the development of a strong nervous system. Barrier Challenge- to instill problem solving ability and teach the puppies frustration tolerance. Habituation and desensitization loud noises and new experiences (Vacuum, lawn mower, fireworks.

Potty & Crate Training

We start potty training early. When the puppies are around 4 weeks old we begin to make frequent trips outside, the goal is to establish very early on that outside is where we go to potty. We also begin to introduce a crate at this time. The goal is for puppy to look at the crate as a safe cozy space that is just for them. We never want the crate to feel like a punishment. By the 7th week we find that most pups are very happy to climb into their crate for a nap after a playtime.
